The Billiard Room was established as a gallery in 2007. Built purely for billiards in 1893, the room retains the original billiard table and still plays host to the odd game of billiards fives. In its new guise, and with the advantage of old style down-lighters, the table provides a perfect viewing platform for the viewer to appreciate detailed watercolours, drawings and ceramics.

The gallery is intended as a private space, and relies for much of its business on private contact.

All works are for sale and the artists exhibited change regularly. There is no one house style or genre. The informality of the space aims to break down barriers associated with buying art and draws in a variety of clients, be they first time purchasers or established collectors.
