susie dugdale
Susie Dugdale trained at St Martin's School of Art and Leeds Polytechnic as a graphic designer and has subsequently worked freelance undertaking varied work from 5 metre illustrated maps to 7cm bookplates. She has had two exhibitions of watercolour flower paintings at the Malcolm Innes Gallery, London.
In the last 10 years she has changed medium and now works mostly in oil and mixed media (using watercolour for sketches and ideas) and has been studying under Robin Child, an inspirational lecturer on 20th and 21st century art. The exploratory nature of his classes has helped to extend the creative process and her work has changed radically. She is currently fascinated by colour, shape and texture to portray flowers, still life or landscape.
