fiona brown
"As I continue to work on colour and texture and on how my subject matter might relate to them, I also try to express mood and atmosphere through my interpretation of the actual".
Fiona Brown was born in Scotland. Having studied at the Byam Shaw School of Art, London and at Leith School of Art, Edinburgh, she is now based in Perthshire where she also keeps a flock of Lleyn sheep. Her rural surroundings have a great influence on her and inspire, in particular, her watercolour studies. Colour and texture characterise her work - colour for its emotion and texture for its richness.
Fiona exhibits regularly in both Scotland and England and undertakes commissions.
